The older I get the more I am attracted to the older designs.

Although a very accomplished handgun it just does not look purposefull imho.

I think a Browning HP or Colt G70 1911 is more menacing (in looks).

just my 0.02 worth

I love the feel and look of the Browning HP. I have a Beretta 92 and I like it too. I agree they have a meaner look.
The simplicity of the Glock is what impressed me about it.

Love my Glocks, 19 and 22 2nd gens, and a 36 4th gen. Some day the 36 will be my EDC.

Got threaded Wolf barrels for the 19 and 22, the 22 barrel converts it to a 9mm. Have this holster for the 36. http://www.crossbreedholsters.com/Hotca ... fault.aspx

And this suppressor for the Wolf barrels. http://www.gem-tech.com/store/pc/GM-9-2p930.htm

I bought a Gersan Regard MC. If you are a Beretta 92 fan check it out. The machining is nicer than the Beretta.

I bought a Taurus millennium G2 a couple years ago because it was cheap and it shoots...usually, it jams now and again so not a great situation in combat but luckily there's no combat where I live, only shooting ranges where it works fine..... and it was cheap.
