.....now what to do about the throttle sensor......

I opened up the porsche pedal....100% plastic and it's got a pretty serious WOT switch thing that's pretty hard to push, odd. I decided to throw all that away and just keep the sensor and cable.

it looks like I should be able to install the sensor right in front of the gear shift. I messed with making a bracket...... and mostly just buggered it up and need to start over.

Hey mark, thanks for the link. Three homes in a few years but those avid followers will be happy here where they can follow the project through to the end.

Not far off now mate, but I also am surprised that you didn't fire the beast out of the car. Hopefully there are no harmonic vibrations ect to locate once it fires and you don't end up having to lift it out again.

My diff repair has turned into a three and a half year restoration of the Testa but it's getting closer and closer.

A couple bits came today.

the parking brake handle/parts and the exhaust cutout valves. Exhaust is still holding on some more pipes and the mufflers though.

Continuing awe....check

Got a box with some HUGE looking exhaust pipe

Then messed with the throttle sensor....it's getting close to a functional design I think.
