Jim at enginelab is check schematics for me....he thinks the infinity-8 I have should have 12 fuel and I can just pop the bottom cover off and move a couple resistors to have 12 spark. I hope he's right!

I think the using the 4 3-1 collectors is a better plan.....I ordered 4 more bungs. I'll leave the 12 pipe bungs for now though just in case. Now to add code to the ECU to separate the signals.

I have some code for the ECU to do this that appears to be working. I want to add a couple more nice to have features then add cylinders 4-12......but I think when I start wiring things up I'll go with just 6 O2 sensors.

This ECU won't really fit up under the dash well so it's going in the rear trunk along with a fuse and relay panel. It will be time to start ordering parts and wire for this part of the project very soon.

There is usually lots of room behind the passenger footrest in a 308. Cooler than the trunk too.

Ha! I just spent the last couple of weekends cleaning up my stereo configuration including removing my passenger footwell subwoofer.

In the weird world of Ferrari parts availability, NOS passenger footrests and brackets are readily available from many sources for cheap.

I got the 4 new bungs installed tonight so now I'm back to just needing the springs.

I decided the QV air filters won't really fit the way I want....which mean I can have the space for other things.

The oil filters are going under the coolant tank. I ordered a new bracket

The oil tank is going on the other side which will balance the coolant tank. Tank ordered.

So this morning on my long drive to work it occurred to me that I have too many oil lines. Stock is pump out to block. Then I needed to move the oil filter and added filter out and filter in......which I think means:

pump > block in > block out> filter> block in

it should be:
pump > filter > block in

I need to fix that by capping a couple holes on the block....well...I don't NEED need to , but my OCD means I need to

Once I have oil lines connected I'll want to crank it over and see oil pumping everywhere it should be....so I'm going to need a battery and a cable that reaches to the back of the engine where the starter now lives. More stuff to buy.....I'm fearful that completion may now hinge on how tightly Lana holds the purse strings rather than be based on my available time.

I'm also thinking I should be making an engine wiring harness that at a minimum brings out all the stuff that is basically impossible to connect with the engine fully assembled...like the injectors.

Lots to do.....
