Just being sarcastic. I haven't been impressed with many of Ferrari's stock parts that are sourced in Italy.

Oh, well current OEM is Pankl which is a really good mfg, they also now own Carrillo but Carrillo can't source Pankl parts.

JE aquired Weisco, Weisco can not utilize any JE forgings. Since the move Weisco 'lost' all custom info on the pistons they had been making for us, facing having to start over again coupled with the increased cost I started looking elsewhere. Talked with many piston mfg and the problem is that in our case of a 89mm bore there are no forgings that meet what we want. One Co was nice enough to offer making a forging for us but it would fall into availability and time, i.e. it would be 6~9months before they could get around to it and then possibly a yr before it would be done while also requiring I order a min of 20 sets!

Thru contacts in Italy we collaborated with CPS, other then a difference in language they have been great to deal with and FAST! Excellent quality and top notch.

Supertech is an option if you're sticking with stock size, they don't unfortunatly do custom work, I've tried more then once. Extremely helpful, I do use them for the bulk of the valve train parts.
