fancy! Any idea when it might be done or what kind of power you expect? Are you planning to do anything with a tuned airbox on it? That's something that keeps bouncing around in my mind for my build. |

I screwed up big time. I should have sent my car to Scott and let him surprise me with something crazy. |

Well as with all these projects I'm overdue and behind schedule Hoping to get to the dyno in the next 60 days. A lot of parts are still being made and I still have the harness to finish. Shooting for 500Hp NA on this build, we'll see. Dyno sims show 575Hp @ 9krpm. The trick up my sleeve here is not using stock cyl heads Heck they're not even 3x8 heads Tuned intake plenum would be fun but a real chore with separate banks, end up looking like the F360 or any of the modern ones with shared plenum valving. For this one Nick wants some flash and ITB's with tuned velocity stacks scratch that itch for him. These ITB's are from the BMW M6 V10, fancy units that are perfect for these projects. cast stainless bellcranks, nichrome springs, needle roller sealed bearings for the shafts, etc.. 50mm bore with a 25* sweep transition to an oval that's just about the perfect size. |

575 seems plenty doable if everything matches. 60 days seems aggressive, my project was planned got 6 months what ECU are you going with? What are you doing for headers and exhaust?....that's a lot of air to move out. |

ECU: Link G4+ xtreme. As much as I'd like the capability of say a Motec or Mclaren the costs are to high. Programming one from scratch is honestly to time consuming as well. This is Nicks Personal car so it has to be something that can be serviced or adjusted by someone else if I can't. Exhaust is custom, I've lost track of the various exhaust builders we've got prototyping and fabbing stuff up for us. I design and engineer it and let Nick source out some things like this, given his personal long time friendship with Capristo and extensive background in selling exhausts for not just Ferrari but Lamborghini and Porsche it's one less fire I have to deal with. Got my hands full with the engine bits as it is! |

Fancy! Did you have a 7mm stem exhaust ground down or am I seeing things? |

Nope not ground down, these are custom made. |
