I'm retiring from the Army, going to live in Costa Rica with contract jobs in the Middle-East. So selling the 1985 Euro 308 that is being returned to stock. I will not announce it to the world until it is running, just wanted to let you guys know. :)

I've been here a year, but soon to retire from the Army and leave. I will not sell until the market goes back up and then use that money to fix up my 1988 TR.

Ahhh a TR... save those pennies, that's real Ferrari repair bills!

I love the TR, but man does it need space to run! We've got a pristine '88 that I did an engine out on a couple yrs ago and replaced all the fuel lines, coolant lines etc.. It runs strong and good but the balancing of the fuel distributors is a PITA and both need to be done together, there's a slight difference between them at the moment and for the hassle of taking it all off and sending them to Larry instead I'll be converting it to EFI as we can get better performance, reliability and mpg from it.

Mine is a Norwood twin turbo and I want to upgrade the differential and remove the turbos, but keep the modern FI; however they are now worth restoring. We'll see.

The black one right? 1000Hp or something...

Hmmm, I would think that being a Norwood vehicle it would retain value if not add some value in the future. Hard to say but I do agree with the need for more power in the TR. Craziest TR I've ever seen was one that sported twin 8-71 blowers and massive velocity stacks along with Nitro injection. It was built by Fodge back in the 80's when they were also messing about with Top Fuel dragsters, crazy old guy with a massive penchant for speed. If he's still alive he was involved with the TRD off road truck series last I saw him.

In any case dropping the Turbos and keeping the EFI shouldn't be too hard. But if true values are based on stock you might have to go all the way back to the CIS... ugggh at least it's shared with the mercedes stuff, though that stuff is getting expensive too. Given the curve on values and resto costs the sooner you start the cheaper it is. Parts acquisition is the budget killer 9 times out of 10.
