So this happened. A friend of mine bought a restored 74 Camaro with an engine issue. I built the 350 block into a 383 with Dart aluminum heads, mild port job in house, Eagle rotating assembly, Comp Cams hyd roller, all good parts. Engine ran well but he wanted a different trans. 4l80e was built and then swapped to another project that had a Monster Transmission TH400 and gear vender over drive. Dash upgrade with AutoMeter gauges, change the shifter to B&M Mega Shifter. Battery was being moved to the trunk. So, after several years and moving three times, he decided he was done. Just didn't want to deal with it anymore. We made a deal and it came to me. So now I need to unload it and remove all the parts and see where I am. I think I am going to remove the gear vender over drive and put a stock tail housing back on the trans and just get it running again. Drivers side window exploded in the garage on day so I need a glass. I need to clean everything. I think the engine has an oil leak either at the rear china rail or one of the pipe plugs on the top of the block. And then there is the wiring, that all needs to be sorted out and the dash put back in. It has a ton of great parts, just needs love at this point. Oh, and time, lots of time that I have little of. My goal is to make day one of the HotRod power tour because it is in Atlanta Motor Speedway and that is just over an hour away.
