Dune Buggy is very close. Just a few sheet metal issues that I am making corrections to. Stella, my wife's 69 C10 just received Holley HP fuel injection, headers and exhaust mods. Need to finish that too. Last weekend for the stage play I am doing so after this weekend it is car crazy game on. ![]() |

So here is my update. Buggy is running and driving. Super fun, pulls hard, turns 6500 so far but probably has a little more in it, no need though. Wife drove it yesterday but only in a big parking lot, her choice, she was nervous but had no issues. Blue Camaro is running, I need to finish the header back part of the exhaust. Need to put the alternator on, swap the power steering pump & make a high pressure hose for it. Then burn outs. My wife's C10 has a built 355 small block makes about 375 hp. She loves it. Drives it every day. Has AC, all new brakes. New booster and master cylinder, new front calipers, new lines and hoses. New flex joints and U joints in the drive shaft. Wheels and tires she loves. Next is a 70 Camaro that was given to my in 1999 and disassembled for updates. In 2000 I bought my 7 year old son a race car and we raced until he sent to collage. Car was stashed in my dads shed. Dad has moved to a facility and the house is getting sold. Car has to move. I now want to put it together with used and hand me down parts. I should start a channel about my stuff and call it Hand Me Down Garage. P.S. I am looking for donations of parts. I will try and load some pictures later. |

Are the new carbs on the buggy? |

No. The big carb kit is still in the rebuild stage. Parts are here but I need to machine the choke out of one hole. It’s stuck. Then full cleaning and assembly. Then port match and fit it on. The others run so well, it’s hard to want them off the car. |

Saturday I finally got the alternator belt on the Blue Camaro and fired it up. Open 3 1/2 headers are very loud. I pulled out of the drive and drove out of the neighborhood and came back in the other entrance, there was a lady walking her very small dog so I turned around and drove back the other way. It had plenty of water temp at this point so a little throttle was needed to pull up the hill. It night have left some "tire tracks" as it pulled up the hill at 6000 rpm in 2nd gear. Oh well, had to get up the hill somehow. I need to fit the exhaust and then it can be an actual driver. It feels like it is going to be a fun car. I'll get a video and link if I can figure out how to do that. ![]() |

I drove the 74 Camaro this weekend. Runs well, no over heat, pulls hard. Drinks gas like it is the early 70s and gas is cheap. Need to finish a few details, radio speaker connections, install the AFR gauge (this may help with gas milage), need to find a seat belt buckle for the drivers side. The buckle I have is broken and missing parts.
