Hello!
I design a DIY ECU board using MPC 5634.
I'm looking for PCB Layout Guidelines for this processor.
Below is an example of an image for the MC9S12XEP100 processor.
You need the same for the MPC5634M QFP-144.

The info is not in the manual?

I have a demo ecu layout from freescale when it was still freescale.....you want it? If fact I have a prototype they produced you can have that too if you want as it's just sitting......no idea what it would cost to ship it to Ukraine.

I will say you're about the 12th person to jump into designing a 5634 ECU board, none have ever actually produced a working board and I'll tell you what I've told all who came before....i don't think that is the right place to start. There is a nice dev board for $100 and with it a functional ECU can be assembled for about $250. The real problem is no one is interested in actually testing the damn thing, code that should work has been sitting for years now plus the limits in the free etpu code and the need for a $3k compiler to change it was caused a general loss of interest.

What's left of the o5e team has moved on to a fpga based ecu.....why not jump in :)

Information in the manual is missing.

To send to Ukraine it is not necessary. For shipment we use a warehouse in the USA.

Testing and verification of the code we carry out constantly.

Look at the development tools here.

Limits for etpu code I checked. They suit me. To start.

A little about myself:

I understand you perfectly.
During the years of studying various ECUs, I got acquainted with non-working boards and non-working code.

I have MPC5634, MPC5746, TRK USB MPC5604B in stock.
I was curious to know what difficulties you encountered in the implementation of your project 05e to find a solution and successfully complete the project.

I THINK the existing code will run an engine....some one just needs to be willing to give it a try.

We've mostly struggled with people committing to put the project over personal preference. It seems as soon as you tell someone it's open, they want a custom version and don't really contribute anything but problems to the main project.

That aside, as an open project it just seems too limited by tools and complexity to really make a lot of sense. Enginelab is now $1800, let's me do anything I please engine control wise and Jim fixes any software or hardware issues I run into.....hard to beat honestly.

Sean and I are talking about a common chip, probably ARM to run the control logic and coms, with a now common fpga to do all the time critical stuff. I think this would be easier to deal with and have a much bigger user base as a result. The problem it time to work on it......interested in helping?

If not, o5e should work and ehile it's been some tine I will try to answer any questions you have.

Interesting. What firmware are you running on it?
