Mine look like that but black. I believe they were removed from an engine which was being scrapped.

I look forward to seeing your results then :)

I'm struggling with the fuel lines. I was planning to go pump, rail, regulator but there's not a lot of room (aka no room) for the out flow. What I thought would fit just won't. I could weld some elbows to the end of the rail and snake it out the space I have or just cap it and T the inlet line for the regulator or throw out the regulator and let the ECU handle pressure.......delays.......

I decide to stay the course and try to snake it out the space I have.....a couple days for parts to arrive.

The elbows I ordered came as long radius instead of standard.....looks like mcmaster dropped the standard so they were a little more challenge to fit but I got it. Then I realized I don't have the right tap for an-8 I decided to use so more delay finishing this.

Also a pic of the barb to AN conversion on the gas tank fitting.

Yeah...I said a few weeks back that the actual run date will come down to how well I manage logistics of all the little things that need attention. when there are dozens of things to do I can work on whatever I have parts for but now with only a few items left I need to have the parts or work stops.

The TBs will get installed and fuel system wrapped up Monday or Tuesday probably. I'll probably mount the coils tomorrow so they'll be done. Wiring between Christmas and New Years I guess. I a little broke the ECU the other day when I tried to load the new firmware with 12 spark outputs into it so that needs to be sorted out. It's getting close.

I decided to stay on the fuel system today. I cleaned up the welds on the elbows I added to the rail (still waiting for a tap so I can make the AN adapter part). Then modified an AN fitting to let me use it to mount a fuel temp sensor in an unneeded port on the fuel pressure regulator. I also have a pressure transducer mounted in the gauge port to send pressure to the ECU and the regulator mounted in the car in the same location I used with the last engine so no new holes to drill.

A little more fuel system work. To clear the bell-housing the pump needed to go in on an angle so I had to add a bracket to the frame. The I made up the lines from the tank to the rail. It seems I'm still missing a fitting over on the rail to regulator side and I also ordered a new fuel filter today so those will delay completing the fuel system but I still need to install the tank to tank cross tube and bolt down the driver side tank and I want to add a clamp or bracket to hold the fuel filter (which is not nearly as close to the exhaust as it looks in the pic) in place. Lots to do.

That's an easy one, its a $5 fitting and I just cut off the barb, cleaned off the plating, welded it on, then a quick coat of paint. About 30 minutes total effort.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aer-fbm2875/overview/

The tank outlet is already big and I was just using a barb to AN on the pump but barb to AN only come straight or 90 I think and that wasn't going to work with the pump relocation I had to do.....so switching to AN at the tank got me access to a lot more fitting options. That was the only reason for the change.
