It appears that was nothing to really be scared of....just a few variable name changes and some updates to my math because the core time units changed from usec/10 to ms. I think the model is now updated to V97 and functional again.....if nothing else the fuel flow enginelab is calculating matches what dynomation (engine simulator) is calculating

A long day playing with wires. The harness is mostly sleeved, just the front part remains and I want to put the harness in before doing that part. I've also got about 1/2 the engine bay connectors installed on the harness.....another 6-8 hours and I should be ready to put the harness in the car for real

You've probably talked about sensors & connectors already, but did you wind up with stock Bosch sensors and AMP connectors?

I've been trolling the net recently for sensors that have Deutsch connectors, and waddya know - AEM offer some........ Of course they have the wrong threads, but at least "someone" out there is thinking outside the normal box.

I have a hodge-podge. If I"m adding a connector I used Deutsch like I couldn't find one for the Cam sensor so I snipped the wire and installed a new one or the GM coolant temp sensor i added is under the intake so I made a pigtail with the GM connector on one and and Deutsch on the other.

Senors are stock were possible....but that is really just the crank pickup. IAT and CLT are GM. My baro is a GM MAP. My MAP is a custom board with 12 pressure sensors on it and no connector so I'll need to add a pigtail...well 2 actually, one 3 wire for the MAP connection and a 12 wire to give me individual cylinder MAP info. For TPS I have a ducatic sensor on the TBs and a bosch sensor on the actuator (BMW). The throttle pedal sensor is boshc from a porsche. NBO2 are bosch fron a GM with GM connectors and the WBO2 is Bosch sensor/connector but it goes to the innovate controllers and they will be deutsch tot he ECU. Rear wheel speed I'm splicing a Deutch into the stock speedo wiring and Front wheel will be deutsch on the industrial sensors I added to the front wheels.

Hodge-podge

Is the Infinity box fussy about which CLT and AIT sensors you must use? I'm sure they must be thermistor types with NTC characteristic curves, but there's several flavors of those, with very different resistances at 20 degrees C. Will the box accommodate sensors with different resistance ranges?

There is a "thermistor" item that makes adding a temp sensor to the model very easy and it has a good number of options and if you need a different one one can send the info to enginelab and they will add it to the list. Or you can program it yourself using a math item to convert the measured voltage to a re4sistance using ohm's law then a lookup for the ohm/temp relationship. If you have a different way you want to measure temp like a themo couple or CAN device or whatever you can use that to, you just need to know how to convert the signal coming in through any type of the input to a temp and give the temp the variable name you use for CLT or AIT in your model. You can do pretty much anything you want....which is a double edge sword :)

The infinity boxes are now being sold under the enginelab brand or at least there is a picture on the web site so I'm not sure if they will still let one buy an AEM box then load the enginelab FW or if there might be a fee involved.
