Nearly there. I have a small concern though.....when I switched on the ignition to power up the fuel pump to pressure test the fuel system nothing happened. I plugged the laptop in and was unable to connect to the ECU......I finished the pressure test using a jumper wire to get the pump on but I'll need to figure out what the heck is going on now with the ECU.

Today ended up family day but I got an hour at the end of the day and got the ECU issue resoled......it was me puting the ECU fuse in the wrong spot which I only realized after I took it to the bench and wiped and reloaded everything. Doh!

This ECU is a very early serial number, it must have been on the dealers self a long time. Anyway the early units had an issue with a low quality component used for the lowside drivers...and I now have 3 that are dead :( It won't delay me trying to start the engine but I will need to resolve this problem.

I bet the starting of this engine will result in a simultaneous explosion of a stockpile of North Korean weapons for no other reason than the universe sees it fit to punctuate a momentous occasion. Mark be sure to put your sunglasses on before you start it so you can look extra cool when Kim Jong Un disintegrates and you are heralded as the savior of the free world. 8-)
