The polarity doesn't matter for solenoids like a fuel injector either, so you could just leave all of the wires black, solder them together as one and use a different color on the other side of the connector.
That's right and my first thought was to move on, wire is wire.....but in my mind it adds unneeded complexity and future confusion so best to just fix it now. The new connectors and sorted out wire colors shipped yesterday so I'll have them in a couple days.
For tonight the fuel line and fittings arrived yesterday so I'll work on that and I still haven't decided how I want to mount the coils and I have a mess in the old wiring left from work I started 8 years ago to clean up...lots to do so a little delay installing the TBs is irrelevant other than it annoys me.
