Yes....well, I overshot so 31 and its still there this morning. I just inspected inside all the cylinders and they are dry and nothing on the outside so its a pass.

I'm thinking the while last time I had a single hole large enough that both water air and water fit out but this time maybe I have more than 1 tiny holes that leak air but are not big enough for water? I may be waited a bit long on the assembly and toque steps? Don't know but its not leaking water and had I started with the water test like I was supposed to I'd be thrilled right now :D

Now I need to drain it and heat it up for a re-torque.

Did you turn it back upright to see if it leaked again?

You're torquing the heads warm and then leak checking again?

The plan was let it cool down then re-torque. It's 200-210F now so I just shut the heater off and closed the oven to let if cool gently. The goal here is that any sealant that still wants to flow will and the gasket will get a bit more crush and hopefully the torque will be more stable over time since these are composite not MLS gaskets.

I will likely repeat the leak test

It seems to be holding air now....it's dropped a little as the temperature dropped so I'll check it again in the morning but for sure it's better than it was

13 hours later its at 16 psi so it leaks air, WAY slower than last time but a leak

so I'm not sure its as good as last time

It's sealed pretty well now. It lost 2psi (of air) in 10 hours and it was still warm so at least 1psi was the temp change. Time to assemble.

This is interesting, at least to me, but it's hard to show in a photo....water creeping out under the sealant under the block off plate.
