Lots of delays, forgot I had not bag, eat dinner, then it fired right up.

....and I would says it leaking the best it ever has. The wrap made it super easy to real the headers and know 6 & 12 were dead so most of the steam and water on the ground was likely from them. So now that its water based coolant I dumped a bunch of WD-40 in the cylinders so they so don't rust and tomorrow I'll dump in one of the sealers I couldn't use with the Evans....then Saturday I'll pull the engine and call myself an idiot for trying the sealant

this is a real downer .Since you are mixing up chemicals perhaps some leak detection dye could be in the brew .It would help to have visible tracks to the leaks assuming that the leak sealer does not work and it just might work .

Go for dye... Not much else you can do. Might as well get as much data as possible.

I'm leaning toward trying one the the sodium silicate products which probably means draining and filling with straight water...before I pull the engine again and redesign the liners and/or sealing solution.

The silica based head sealants should due that job. They harder in ant holes they right so will still be there when it comes apart I'd think...I saw some internet pics where you could see it on disassembly

I went with this stuff.

I really like how many steps and heat cycles and the long curing time so it will be a couple days before I need to accept failure

The 1st heat cycle is done and it was actually running pretty well...wasn't really seeing a lot of smoke. I was about to lean the fuel by about 1/3 from where I had to have it to keep the Evan's burning. Now it cools 30 minutes or so, top off and double the runtime, cool, top off, double again then cool and drain and let it sit 12-24 hours with the system open to let air in. Tomorrow is family day so Friday I'll refill and see what I have.

Heat cycle #2 and its idling pretty well. There is no smoke( other than something burning out of the heater wrap) , all the cylinders were running, temp seemed to be holding around 195F
