All four calipers painted....not sure I love the shape of yellow but changing it is a next year problem at this point and who knows maybe be they I will love it.

I tried to make the bearing adapters my life's work but they are done

I realized with the bearing the lower forks can rotate.....there is no force to move them so I think I'll just tighten them up and see how it goes. If they rotate I'll need a solution but I don't think they will

I started reassembling the uprights and realized I had altered the brake line brackets to install the F430 calipers so the plating is gone and they were starting to rust, so they are blasted and painted

The front upper frame mounts are slotted to make make toe adjust possible with the bearings

The forks have longer bolts to let me add the camber the super sticky tires like but they still need to be painted.

I think I'll also make some spacers for the forks so I don't need a ton of shims and I need spaces for the A-arm bolts because the bearings are much shorter than the bushings.

Its getting close to engine install time which is good because are the ECU boards are ordered so I should have a working ECU in my hands in maybe 4 weeks? My how time flies.

More painting. These parts should be yellow zinc plated but I don't have time for that right now and this really ain't that kind of build.

I know it fits, I know how to angle it, but every time the stress stress of seeing it.......I do kind of wish a HF engine compressor was a real tool.

Tomorrow I'll try to get the front headers on....they are a bugger and again the engine has to be in just the right place.

Tonight I set a new personal best for installing the front headers and getting the engine sitting on its mounts...45 minutes! I was using the engine hoist to hold the engine up so I could reach the header nuts, but this time I used a jack so the hoist was out of the way...so much easier! Than mounts bolted, water pump, alternator and oil return pump all on. Vodka time :)

There are a few col connectors that lost there clips as did the main TPS so I need to see what I have an order if I don't have replacements. i also need oil filters so the coolant tank is wait as they are easier to reach with it out and somehow I connected my brake pressure sensors to 12V instead of 5V and one seems dead so that needs to be replaced before I refill the brake system.

I ordered some crimpers that I think will be correct for the new ECU pins...or would be if I had normal wirs but mine is almost all the tefzel aircraft grade stuff which has thinned insulation... this will be a project but at least it comes with a speed sticker so definitely worth it

Tomorrow I guess i start reassembling the rear suspension. OEM camber is 0.5deg front, 1.5deg rear. I'm thinking I want to be around 3? The front gains camber as it turns.....so spacers that add about 1.5 degree? which should be about 8mm and shim from there as needed.
